Jack Klett – Creating Unique Golf Memorabilia Collectibles

Jack moved to Florida with his wife, Kathy, and their boys, Paul and Jim, in September 1972. He bought the Snook Nook in Jensen Beach from the original owner, Johnny Crawford. He was community oriented and was President of the Jensen Beach Chamber in 1977. After selling the business in 1977 to Tom Stewart, he joined the staff at First National Bank and ran the Computer Department until 1981 when he moved to be a faculty member of Indian River Community College. Jack was Chairman of the Accounting Department until 2007 and retired in 2008. He still teaches part-time for IRSC and remains a dedicated member of the academic team. Jack graduated from Syracuse University with a Master’s Degree in Accounting. Kathy also graduated from Syracuse University with a Master’s Degree in Math Education.

Paul, his oldest son, graduated from IRCC and went on to UCF to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering followed by a Master’s Degree from Webster University. He married Lisa Flowers, whom he met at Stuart Middle School, and they have two boys, Adam and Brian. Both sons are now at Clemson University. Lisa has a degree from UCF in Aeronautical Engineering.

Jim, his youngest son, graduated from Clemson University with a Ph. D in Chemical Engineering. He married Lynn Bailey, whom he met when he joined the Marching Band, and they have two boys, David and John, and a daughter, Kelsey. David is 17, Kelsey is 15, and John is 13. Lynn has a Master’s Degree from Clemson in Mechanical Engineering.

Jack is very proud of his family and probably is one of the few “Pop Pop’s” with 5 Eagle Scouts. Paul, Jim, Adam, Brian, and David have all earned the highest rank in Boy Scouts and John will be an Eagle next Spring making 6 for a proud father and grandfather.

Jack’s enthusiasm for golf has resulted in a new unique business. He takes wooden golf club heads, finishes them to resemble new clubs, and creates individual golf gifts to preserve the great history of the sport. His custom golf memorabilia gifts would enhance your home or office and make fantastic gifts for birthdays, graduations, retirements, anniversaries, reunions, or holiday events. They would also make great gifts for clients who are interested in the game and especially for golf tournaments. They include: Dresser Organizer, Desk Organizer, Umbrella with wooden head as handle, Bookends, Candy or nut tray, Plaques for entrances, Pen holder, Shadow box with wooden head sitting over a picture of golf landscape, chip tray and bowl ensemble, and other unique gift items which are all made with wooden heads from the past. Jack creates these to his fastidious workmanship ethics and takes deep pride that they represent a collection of historical memorabilia to enrich a golfer’s true admiration of the game with prestigious quality.

Testimonials

I have been involved in the golf industry in several capacities, founding the Gary Player Golf Course Design Company in the United States, heading up golf development for The Huizenga companies, President of The Florida State Golf Association, Director of Club Properties for Penn-Florida Companies and is a past winner of the Florida State Senior Championship)

It is a pleasure to recommend my friend, Jack Klett and his unique, one of a kind, golf awards and prizes.

Jack has captured the market on the re use of rare and one of a kind persimmon wood heads. Prior to the introduction of metal woods persimmon was the most sought after wood for use in golf woods. His products range from business card holders to award plaques and even walking canes! Truly unique ideas!

As a person with a long history in the golf industry, I can highly recommend Jack and his products. They have always been well received and hang on the walls of many prominent people who have supported charity and club events over the years.

I have known Jack for over 25 years. He was my Accounting Professor and mentor at Indian River State College and taught me ethics, integrity and professionalism. He uses those traits in his life and in his business to produce fine hand-crafted golf gifts and trophies which you would be proud to display in your home and office. I highly recommend Jack's Golf Gifts as a source for you to find fantastic golf gifts that truly display the history of golf using wooden golf club heads.

Every time I have given a Jack's Golf Gift item to a friend or colleague, it is an instant conversation starter.  People comment on both the quality and the uniqueness of the gift.  If someone wants to give a golf fan something special, I highly recommend they give that person a Jack's Golf Gifts creation.
